never underestimate anybody.
Within the book, this is my favourite photo of all. It has such an interesting story, it goes like this:
When Scott Schuman was about to take this photograph, he thought " is this guy poor or just eccentric?"
A year later when Schuman included this photograph in his exhibition, one of the newspaper critics wrote that Schuman included a homeless man, and that it was really nice of him. This guy at the photograph you see is a creative director of Ralph Lauren. So Schuman could never had the heart to tell the critic that the homeless man probably made twice as much money as he did.
dont you just love?
I mean reaaaally, how fantastically interesting are these t-shirts?
I read somewhere that these beauties were inspired by childhood dreams and ghost inspired friends? well, whatever it is it leaves me speechless. The shirts were done in Canada but printed in Mexico. And they should be super-soft :) http://adieu.bigcartel.com/
Miro Svolik
So i got this postcard I picked up from KulturKontakt in Austria about decades ago,
its the third photo, and it has been sitting upon my wall since 2002. I managed to check the artist just now. I could lie and say there was no internet back than :P anyway, his photos are beautiful. This one on your left is called self portrait.

i heart marlene dumas
i got this book long ago called "wet dreams" by Marlene Dumas,
and i still can't stop looking at it. The picture next door is the front page of the book. The book also has collaborations with her daughter Helen, her 6 year old daughter. "Helen's invention (using colored pencils, water-colors, poster paints and other painting utensils) turns her mother's concept- on nearly every one of the sheets-upside down. What is fluid becomes dull, become bright, flatness become lined. I can't find much about her on the internet, but promice once I get a chance, I'll put some of her works with her daughter.

Civelek style
Here is Ahmet Civelek's paintings. He was in my art studio of Deniz Orkus and Dara Abadi. Always liked his paintings loads. Here are my favourites from them. You know when you start out painting, to create something or do anything, you are instantly being told you either work like such an such painter, well this guy started out, and everybody said 'Oh the guy who works like Pollock' check out these works, he's got a style and its damn good. He graduated from Byam Shaw in 2010. Do check out his videos too.
creative growth designs
I haven't shared how beautiful Creative Growth designs are with you. Shame on me. Well ok, Creative Growth is an art centre for adults with disabilities physical and mental. These artists make the most amazing art ever. They are based in Oakland, California. However towards the summer Selfridges in London started bringing some t-shirts that made me the happiest person to wear with my big belly. Please check out these beautiful works by these amazing artists. Enjoyyyy

victoria and albert museum 16th march. Scrapbox event
we were fortunate enough to exhibit bits and pieces from college work today at the v&a for a day, it was an amazing experience to go through the staff doors, and getting a name tag and things like this. No really, it was quite cool. I can't pretend I didn't enjoy it, because I did, and this time, not secretlly. I put my video the edited version for 5 minutes, and showed some of my postcards, here are some photos.. such a shame i lost a postcard on the way, I do not know if it got lost, or if somebody took it as if they thought it was a part of the exhibition place, who knows. But I really dislike losing my work, if its in good hands, than I do feel its okay. But still I kind of don't like being careless over things that I enjoy, and really dislike losing things, it kind of feels like vanishing away that bit of yourself. I mean its always there, I can re-make things but there again, will it ever be the same in that time and space?
